Pitches and Submissions
Prompted is always open to pitches from writers with something to say about the creative process, creative routines, creativity, or really anything mildly writing-related — including reported pieces and interviews. Got something a little offbeat and weird? Awesome.
Did a Prompted prompt inspire you to write something? Please submit! I'd love to feature it in the newsletter.

musings
I was sick last week and ended up burrowing under a blanket for several days to recover. But on the upside, I did watch a bunch of movies! My major reading slump seems to be over, too. It’s the first year (maybe ever??) where I haven’t finished a book yet. I’m usually at least 15 books deep by now!
I think it’s my chaotic schedule right now. Random late nights because my writing workshop goes past midnight. Early mornings for long weekend runs. It’s a mess. And I’m someone who typically has great sleep habits, and when my routine is thrown off, I struggle.
This week, my mind has been stuck on some sad stuff, but I don’t want to be a bummer, so I won’t go into it. Maybe another time.
Let’s all go into this weekend ready to enjoy the little moments that bring joy.
